ITINERARY
Day 1: Quito - Cuenca. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuenca, a quaint, colonial city. On a morning walk, visit the Modern Art Museum, San Francisco Square, the Flower Market, El Carmen Cloister, Calderón Park and the Cathedrals. Drive to El Barranco's historic residences, El Turi scenic lookout, a textile workshop and Avenida Don Bosco, with its offerings of typical foods. After lunch at Restaurante Villa Rosa, continue to a Panama hat workshop and visit a handicraft village or soak in thermal springs. Return to Cuenca. Dinner and overnight in Cuenca
Day 2: Ingapirca Ruins. Travel though fascinating landscapes in the provinces of Azuay and Cañar to the ruins of Ingapirca, the main Inca site in Ecuador. A typical lunch at the Posada de Ingaprica and a visit to the Ingapirca Museum before returning to Cuenca. Dinner and overnight in Cuenca
Day 3: Cuenca - Quito. Choose a hike in the El Cajas National Park or a drive to picturesque country villages. The national park is a unique and beautiful place with the typical characteristics of high altitude areas and glacial formations. Lunch at the Hostería Las Dos Chorreras. The beautiful and varying Andean landscape is the perfect setting in which our tour of country villages evolves, as you discover enchanting places rooted in the past. Lunch at the Hostería Ushupud. Return to Cuenca for the afternoon flight to Quito. Reception and transfer to your hotel . Guided evening walk to the Café Tianquez. Overnight
